About Dr Lo

Meet Dr. Brittany Lo, our dedicated Optometrist at Kamloops Family Vision Clinic (KFVC), who joined our team on August 10, 2022. Originally from the Greater Toronto Area, she is delighted to now call Kamloops her home. Dr. Lo earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees at the University of Waterloo, graduating with honors on the Dean’s Honours List.

Dr. Lo’s journey continued with advanced clinical training in Grande Prairie, Alberta, where she gained extensive experience in managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, and uveitis. Her commitment to comprehensive eye care was further honed during her primary care externship in Surrey, B.C., practicing full-scope optometry under the guidance of great mentors.

Specializing in ocular disease, myopia control and known for her patient-centered approach, Dr. Lo prioritizes taking the time to listen to her patients, ensuring their concerns are fully addressed. The most fulfilling aspect of her job is helping patients, no matter how big or small the impact, positively influence their daily lives.

Beyond the world of optometry, Dr. Lo is a lover of food in all its glorious forms. An interesting fact about her is that she knows how to play the trumpet, adding a musical touch to her diverse set of skills.

Outside of work, Dr. Lo enjoys yoga, cooking, and exploring new destinations with her partner, Michael. Her travel adventures have taken her to the breathtaking Amalfi Coast, and she dreams of visiting the Galapagos Islands in the future.

Dr. Lo’s commitment to patient care extends to accepting new patients, and she looks forward to providing high-quality eye care and education to individuals of all ages. Whether she’s examining eyeballs or exploring new culinary delights, Dr. Brittany Lo brings enthusiasm, expertise, and a patient-centric focus to the Kamloops Family Vision Clinic.
