Chris Tainsh, a dedicated professional in the field of optometry, assumed the role of Associate Optometrist at Kamloops Family Vision Clinic (KFVC) on August 5, 2021. Originally from a farm northeast of Calgary, Alberta, Chris completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Mount Royal University. He continued his studies south of the border in Chicago, Illinois, receiving his Doctor of Optometry at Midwestern University in 2021. Dr. Tainsh has a special interest in Ocular Disease, Dry Eye, and Myopia Control.
From a young age, Chris harbored dreams of becoming a knight, inspired by the values of protection and service. Today, as an optometrist at KFVC, those foundational values manifest in his commitment to safeguarding and enhancing the vision of each patient.
Colleagues describe Chris as an optimistic individual who endeavors to infuse each workday with a touch of intrigue. Beyond routine eye care, he aspires to create an environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for.
